The E400 will alarm (auditory and visual) if the oximeter is not correctly in place on the finger, if the voltage is low and most importantly, if it measures a reading beyond set limits. However, its widespread adoption has led to an entire school of thought around when and how much oxygen is needed for patients. The recording feature really helps me understand what is happening at night, But it does exactly what I wanted.I spent a lot of time searching for one that would provide the continuous monitoring needed to monitor my overnight oxygen levels. For the price, it performs amazingly.

The instructions are kinda weak. Pulse oximeter showed SpO 2 to be 98% and started decreasing rapidly. Light wheighted. Will definitely purchase again!We needed a Oximeter for a family member that had some health issues and this one is working just great. No regrets at all!This is the best oximeter that I have ever purchased. The device stops occasionally but it’s probably because we’re using it for an unintentional purpose. However, I’ve found that the readings match those taken at my doctor’s office.Had a little trouble getting the software started, but I do love this little device.

Why is my reading on my left hand fingers is higher than my right? After a tourniquet made from NIBP cuff were inflated, subjects were given either Ondansetron 8 mg or Lidocain 20 mg intravenously, then the tourniquet was set off. Possible improvement would be to have brighter output for use in bright sunlight, and nice if it could give readings while on a swinging arm while walking fast.I am pleased with the results.

Software is easy to install and use, instructions are good and complete and easy to follow. They can also be known as blood oxygen monitors, pulse oximeters and oxygen saturation machines. I was replacing mine bought over 25 years ago when they cost hundreds of dollars and were heavy, so it was time to replace it.
