My DD's sticky eye was blocked tear ducts. I'm taking her to the doc in the morning for a routine newborn check up, but was wondering what the Mums/Dads out there have used to treat a sticky eye in a baby. When a person blinks, the eyelids sweep the tear fluid into these ducts, which drain it into the nose.If the tear duct becomes blocked, tear fluid may no longer be able to drain away from the surface of the eye. I did this because if I got my nork near enough his face to squirt it in, he would be dancing about trying to latch on!!
