Good luck.I’m on Abilify. Latuda (lurasidone) is good for treating schizophrenia and depression related to bipolar disorder, but can cause sleepiness and movement disorders that can affect your ability to stay alert.
Has anyone out there been on both, and which do you think is better regarding side effects and how you feel generally?Abilify wound me up too much, I actually felt aggressive on it.I took latuda in addition to abilify at one point. I honestly don't think it did much for me at all.
Abilify is not likely to be helpful for social anxiety. Both Latuda and Abilify may interact with rifamycins, azole antifungals, or other medicines that make you sleepy (such as cold or allergy medicine, narcotic pain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and medicine for seizures, depression, or anxiety). I’m currently on Abilify and thinking about asking to switch to Latuda. Latuda made me terribly sick. I experienced extreme irritation that turned into rage...out of character behavior...I am about to try abilify I hope it works
