Aren't you not supposed to do it long term? Curing severe acne can be a long process. I used to get a bunch of giant cysts on the lower half of my face, and especially bad during time of the month. My a.m face cream is Complex 15 (non greasy, hypo allergenic and doesn't interfere with makeup).

I don't eat dairy regularly but sweets get me--I have something sugary (even if it's just raisins or honey on PB toast) almost daily. I swear I tried everything. Too much acid in the body increases inflammation, and inflammation leads to acne. They may be tiny, but walking into a meeting with even the smallest blemish was horrible!A few years ago, I read a blog about how good coconut oil was for your skin. I've used milder otc retinoids before (mostly Neutrogena) and those did help, but with the standard retinoid irritation, especially around my eyes.
I found that CeraVe's moisturizers break me out so I've been using the Pond's, which works well for me but smells like a grandma so it's not HG.I also suspect that Evening Primrose supplements have helped, but I don't take them consistently enough to really know for sureFollowing this!
