";s:4:"text";s:4483:" I havent built the courage to take it every day and see if the effect subsides. It would be awesome if this drug didnt have this effect, bc I'm worried about SSRIs for their sexual effects and worried about Remeron's weight gain. I would try it so you can cut back on melatonin and catch some zzzzz’s. Its weird that this one has the opposite effect SSRIs give me.Update: took less than 12.5 mg of traz last night and it happened again, decided this pill is not for me.If I were you, I would give remeron (mirtazapine) a shot.. I litterally have a tolerance to melatonin. Any experience. A sleeping pill that men should probably avoid is Trazodone.
That’s waaay too much, you’re probably disrupting your circadian rhythm. The wellbutrin will lift your mood and keep down the hungriness that remeron can cause..I personally am on a combo of 300MG of wellbutrin SR a day and a half a 15MG mirtazapine before bed and I've had a lot less anxiety / OCD symptoms while on it..((note - you're smart not taking more than about 12.5MG of trazodone a night.. Higher doses can cause headaches and even migraines - as I found out the hard way, yet I stupidly stuck with it for nine months at around 100MG --- until I realized that mirtazapine could help me more, without the side effects of trazodone))I've heard the drowsiness increases as lower doses and that drug has a really long half lifeI need this problem. And I've never taken more than 12.5 mg. Its usually not full on hard, but enough to worry about it.
I tried trazodone first but had to stop because of such a bad case of dry mouth that I had to drink every hour sort of negating any help with my sleep! Make sure you follow the RULES.
This is a risk reduction resource. In that sense, it resets circadian rhythm. use of trazodone in male erectile dysfunction. I switched to etizolam after several years of taking trazodone. By using our Services or clicking I agree, you agree to our use of cookies. Took it for a few years to deal with sleep apnea. Not much recreational value to it though, I ended up weaning off of it because it made me super groggy in the mornings.Trazodone is poison. Current meds make my erectile problem worse.Checking in with another vote for remeron. I use mirtazapine, the generic and it gives me the best sleep that I have had for decades. The trick with melatonin is to take it a couple of hours before you go to bed. Like my doctor has been helping me for years with it. Melatonin doesn’t initiate sleep, it regulates it, and lower doses have been shown to be more effective. We promote harm reduction and fight against the drugs stigma. OK. It's nuts, I've had sleep studies and everything done. Basicly I'm wired with the opposite of a normal rythum and the doc cannot figure out how to fix it. Typically, when taken at lower doses than prescribed (half a 15MG pill instead of a whole one), it works as intended and doesn't cause your appetite to be higher than usual.. At least that's been my experience with it so far..Another thing you could try too is a mix of wellbutrin SR and mirtazapine..
So getting put on trazodone after 4 years of temazepam. My psychedelic tolerance is fucked (although the SNRI that I'm taking probably has an effect too). They have no idea why but as the sun goes down no matter the years of meds and trying to slowly change my circadian rythum with like 5 different sleep programs my brain just goes active around the time the sun goes down and is slowest around 2pm.
